UPDATE:
Due to the spread of COVID-19, we decided to postpone our special day until May 28, 2021. Your health and safety are our top priority and we want everyone to feel free to relax and party when the world is in a more stable place. We are calling this the “Year of the Wedding” and can’t wait to continue celebrating with you!
Theatre is a small world...
...and Peter and Jessica quickly realized they had many friends in common due to their careers in performance (however short-lived). These friends enthusiastically gave Jessica and Peter the confidence that they should get to know each other better. Peter chased Jessica all over the country as she continued to pursue her theatrical career and she finally settled down for a season in New York where they could really grow as a couple. After seven and half years with bouts of long distance, shared custody of Abel the Cat and a surprise job offer in Texas - they knew a change was coming.
Jessica sent Peter a proposal (in true musical theatre nerd fashion - in the form of a short research paper) in January 2019, to which Peter responded with his own proposal in March 2019. Not to be outdone, he planned his proposal to take place after seeing a Broadway show in Shubert Alley (home to many Broadway marquees) and then they were blessed by the statue of the original song and dance man: George M. Cohan.
Abel the Cat is happy to be living with both his caretakers in their new home in Fort Worth, TX.
